A Thought From Ukraine

Hello from Ukraine!
Clearly internet access is someone limited for me over here, but while I have a few minutes I thought I would let everyone know that things are going wonderfully over here in beautiful Ukraine and I have had a fantastic 2 weeks. It is hard to believe that I have already been here that long, time certainly flies. I don't have the chance to share some of the many stories I have to tell, so I will just say that I finished a great camp in a small town called Svalyava. We were legitimately camping in tents and all, and got to go on some epic hikes around the Zakarpatia area. Ah! Ukraine never ceases to be beautiful and impressive.
I am in Kiev for the day and then taking a train south down to the Black Sea where I will be doing another week long camp at an orphanage. I cannot wait to swim in the sea! After that I will be heading to Bogodukhiv, my first orphanage! The idea is still so so surreal.
It has been interesting, fun and challenging being here on my own, but I must say that I have learned a lot because of it. Thank goodness my Russian is coming in handy, although I am realizing how much more there is to learn.
Two more weeks! Ready, go.
